Description
The FEV N-TEC 2700R 2.7 kg remote-charge gas fire suppression system is a plumbed-in, high-performance fire extinguisher designed for top-level motorsport and fully approved to FIA Standard 8865-2015 (Technical List 52).
The system features an aluminium cylinder and remote-charge push-button activation, providing rapid and highly efficient gas discharge. Fire suppression is delivered via one floor-mounted cockpit bar nozzle and two atomising gas nozzles in the engine bay, allowing straightforward installation, targeted coverage and very fast fire knock-down times.
Designed for small cockpit volumes from 0.8 m³ to 1.15 m³, the system complies with Class I petrol and Class II petrol with up to 30% ethanol regulations under FIA Appendix J (Article 252). The system is also approved for use in electric vehicle applications.
