The Simpson Hybrid HANS is the only head and neck restraint system (HNRS) tested according to FIA 8858-2010 that provides comprehensive protection against frontal, side, and oblique impacts. Unlike conventional FHR systems like the classic HANS®, the Hybrid system rests on the shoulders and back instead of the collarbone and chest.
