As a technology leader, OMP is constantly working to improve its products. It therefore made sense to use the DYNEEMA® fabric used exclusively by OMP as a matrix for a carbon composite steering wheel. The result is the Hybrid S steering wheel OD-2048, which is 20% lighter and 300% more stable than a comparable conventional carbon steering wheel.
OMP is also breaking new ground when it comes to the shape of the steering wheel cross section. For optimized ergonomics, the Superlight versions of the Corsica and Velocita steering wheels are also offered with an oval handle cross section.
