Description
The FEV CF-TEC 2000EK 2.0 kg electrical ColdFire fire suppression system is a highly advanced, plumbed-in fire extinguisher specifically developed for top-tier single-seater race cars and already installed in some of the leading formula racing vehicles worldwide. The system is fully approved to FIA Standard 8876-2022 (Technical List 97).
The system features an aluminium cylinder and electrical activation, ensuring fast and reliable deployment in emergency situations. It is filled with a sustainable ColdFire extinguishing agent, delivering extremely rapid fire suppression while remaining occupant safe and non-aggressive to vehicle components.
Fire suppression is delivered through four compact, lightweight nozzles, engineered using advanced design methods. These nozzles provide targeted coverage of the cockpit, engine bay and sidepods, protecting all critical areas while keeping weight and packaging to an absolute minimum.
