Description
The FEV N-TEC 2.0 kg electrical Remote Charge gas fire suppression system is a compact, permanently installed motorsport fire suppression solution designed for low weight and rapid extinguishing performance. The system is intended for closed-cockpit racing and rally cars and is approved under FIA Technical List 16 for non-international competitions.
Unlike conventional stored-pressure systems, this unit uses a Remote Charge system that enables more efficient gas distribution and faster extinguishing times. Electrical activation is provided through a control box with internal and external activation buttons.
Fire suppression is delivered through 5 atomising nozzles (3 in the engine bay, 2 in the cockpit), producing an extremely fine mist for extensive coverage. The system uses FK5-1-12 gas, a highly effective extinguishing agent that leaves no residue and causes no damage to electrical systems or components.
