Description
The FEV Fire Suppression 2.25kg FIA FK5-1-12 fire suppression system is a mechanically activated extinguishing system containing 2.25 kg of FK5-1-12 gas, developed for closed-cockpit racing and rally cars.
The system features six nozzles – four in the engine bay and two in the cockpit – producing a fine extinguishing mist for rapid fire suppression with extensive coverage.
The FK5-1-12 extinguishing agent suppresses vehicle fires extremely efficiently, leaves no residue and protects sensitive electronics and interior components.
Everything required for installation and operation is included – a complete, FIA-homologated safety system listed on Technical List 16.
