Description
The FEV F-TEC 3.5 litre electrical fire extinguisher system with alloy bottle is a lightweight, plumbed-in fire suppression solution designed for professional motorsport use. Intended for closed cockpit race and rally cars, it is fully compliant with FIA Technical List 16.
This system combines reliable electrical activation with a lightweight alloy bottle, making it ideal where weight reduction is critical. It uses F-TEC, a high-performance foam-based extinguishant providing rapid fire knock-down and excellent resistance to re-ignition.
Discharge is delivered through 6 fine-mist nozzles (4 engine bay, 2 cockpit), ensuring wide and effective coverage of critical areas. Activation is controlled via a dedicated control box with internal and external fire buttons for immediate deployment.
