Description
The FEV CF-TEC 2700MK 2.7 kg mechanical ColdFire fire suppression system is a plumbed-in, high-performance fire extinguisher fully approved to FIA Standard 8865-2015 (Technical List 52) for top-level motorsport.
The system features an aluminium cylinder with purely mechanical activation, making it completely independent of vehicle electrics or battery power. It is filled with a sustainable ColdFire extinguishing agent, delivering rapid fire suppression while providing a cost-effective and occupant-safe solution to meet the highest FIA safety standards.
Fire suppression is delivered through 5 nozzles, ensuring wide surface area coverage and very fast fire knock-down times. The system is suitable for modern motorsport vehicles using conventional and alternative fuels.
