Thermo-Tec Turbo Heat Shield
The Thermo-Tec Turbo Heat Shield is designed to insulate and contain the extreme radiant heat generated by turbochargers, protecting surrounding components such as hoses, wiring, and sensors from heat damage. By retaining exhaust heat within the turbine housing, turbo efficiency and spool-up response are significantly improved.
Constructed from multiple layers of high-temperature fiberglass and silica fabric with a reflective aluminum outer layer, the shield withstands continuous exposure to temperatures exceeding 1100 °C. The precision-fit design suits most 4-cylinder turbo units and installs easily even in tight engine bays.
