Description
The Teknofibra self-adhesive heat shield mat is extremely flexible, efficient, and ultra-light. This self-adhesive sheet is so flexible that it adapts to any shape and contour. It can be applied to any surface and ensures maximum adhesion and efficiency. Available in thicknesses from 0.8 to 10 millimeters, the 0.8 mm version weighs only 260 grams per m².
The material can withstand radiant temperatures with peaks of up to +700 °C.
Possible applications include: insulation of turbo components, reduction of road noise, insulation of exhaust components, reduction of intake air temperature, reduction of exhaust noise, insulation/protection of the passenger compartment, insulation of ball joints against brake heat, gearbox insulation against exhaust, gearbox tunnel protection, etc.
