Description
The Arai GP-7 SRC ABP (Advanced Ballistic Protection) is the enhanced version of the GP-7 SRC featuring a built-in ballistic panel above the visor for maximum protection. It fully complies with the FIA 8860-2018 ABP standard, offering the highest safety level for open-cockpit racing.
The shell uses a flexible SRC carbon-composite structure engineered to flex under impact rather than fracture, improving energy absorption and distribution. The ballistic plate protects against 225 g projectiles at 250 km/h. The visor aperture has been lowered by 10 mm to integrate this reinforcement seamlessly.
The Positive Shield Latch mechanism ensures secure, glove-friendly visor operation. Ventilation is provided by five intakes (two chin, three adjustable) and two top exhausts for optimized airflow. A PED kit (front and rear spoilers), factory-installed H.A.N.S./FHR anchors, and a premium helmet bag are included.
